Our 20 Town Dump Road yard in Essex is an easy run for New London customers. Take I-95 west to Route 9 north and you are here in roughly 25 minutes, no downtown traffic or tight lots to deal with when unloading.
We regularly take in metal from across New London, including Downtown and Bank Street, Fort Trumbull, Hodges Square, the Montauk Avenue area and the Ocean Beach and Pequot Avenue shoreline, along with nearby Waterford, Groton, Montville and East Lyme.
New London’s historic downtown and dense neighborhoods of older homes mean cast iron radiators, steam boilers, copper piping and brass fixtures come out with nearly every renovation, while the port and waterfront businesses produce steel, aluminum and stainless. That metal has real value, and we make sure you get paid for it.
